Steps To Install mPay Delight Plus

Let us outline the steps to install mPay Delight Plus.

1. Download and install the “mPay Delight Plus” app from your app store. Download links can be found at the bottom of this article.

2. Open the downloaded app and allow all permissions including location services.

3. Now at the next screen that appears tap on “SEND SMS” button.

4. A popup will appear. Read the message and tap on OK.

5. Select the SIM registered with the bank.

6. Your default messaging app will open with a message already composed. Send the message and as soon as the message is successfully sent, quickly go back to the mPay Delight Plus or wait a few seconds and you will be automatically switched back to mPay Delight Plus.

7. Your number will be displayed in the “Mobile Number” field that you selected to send SMS from. Confirm the number is same as registered with the bank and agree the terms and conditions by tapping on the checkbox and then tap on “SUBMIT” button at the bottom.

8. A screen will appear asking for debit card details. Enter all the details i.e. 16 digit debit card number, expiry date and debit card pin and then tap on “SUBMIT” button at bottom.

9. An OTP will be sent to your registered number which will be auto detected if you allowed the required permissions in step 2. If OTP is not auto detected then enter the OTP received on your registered number and then tap on “SUBMIT”.

10. Finally you will be presented with the screen which will ask you to enter MPIN and TPIN. Both MPIN and TPIN are 6 digit long and must be different from each other. Enter MPIN and confirm it once again by entering the same MPIN in respective fields. Similarly, enter TPIN and confirm it once again by entering the same TPIN in respective fields. Finally, tap on “SUBMIT” button.

Tip: MPIN is used to log in to mPay Delight Plus while as TPIN (think of it as Transaction PIN) is used when initiating any transaction. MPIN in mPay Delight Plus is same as Login Password in “mPay Delight”. TPIN in mPay Delight Plus is same as MPIN in “mPay Delight”.

11. A success message will be displayed stating that registration was successful.

Note: After registration you may be asked to set the answers to a few security questions. You only need to set an answer for one security question at each page, from a total of three pages.

Q. Unable to register on Wifi network?

A. Registration is not allowed on wifi networks. It is a security feature. Enable mobile data and register using mobile data. It is a one time requirement and after successful registration you can use mPay Delight Plus on wifi easily.

Q. Not able to transfer more than INR 10,000 using IMPS?

A. There is a limit of INR 10,000 for IMPS transfers to non beneficiaries. In order to transfer more than INR 10,000 using IMPS, you first need to add the beneficiary to your beneficiary list.

Q. Not able to transfer more than INR 50,000 using NEFT?

A. There is a limit of INR 50,000 for NEFT transfers to non beneficiaries. In order to transfer more than INR 50,000 using NEFT, you first need to add the beneficiary to your beneficiary list.

Q. Is there any limit on other bank transfers for first 24 hours of registration of mPay Delight Plus?

A. Yes. For first 24 hours of registration of mPay Delight Plus you are limited to Rs 10,000 per transaction for IMPS and Rs 50,000 per transaction for NEFT.

Q. Forgot MPIN/TPIN?

A. Yes it happens to all of us. In case you forgot your MPIN/TPIN you can easily reset it online through the app without the need to visit any bank branch.

While on the login page you will find “Forgot MPIN/TPIN?” link. Tapping on it will present you with two options “Forgot MPIN” and “Forgot TPIN”. Tap on the relevant option and you will be presented with a screen asking for debit card details as shown in step 8 above of section titled “Steps To Install mPay Delight Plus“. Enter all the details and tap on “SUBMIT” button. An OTP will be sent on your registered number. Enter the OTP and you will asked to set a new MPIN/TPIN. See screenshot below.

Q. Forgot answers to your security questions?

A. In case you have forgotten answers to your security questions or have entered wrong answers to security questions, you cannot reset them using the app. In such a case, you need to call the customer care at 1800 890 2122. After the call is connected, select the option to authenticate your call and follow the instructions. Once your call gets authenticated, select the option to talk to a customer care representative and ask them to reset the security questions.

Q. mPay Delight Plus locked due to wrong answers to security questions?

A. Same as above. You may call customer care at 1800 890 2122 and ask them to reset the security questions as explained above.

Q. mPay Delight Plus locked but not because of wrong answers to security questions?

A. Uninstall the app and then install again by following the steps mentioned in section titled “Steps To Install mPay Delight Plus” above.

Q. Wrong TPIN entered three times and now it shows locked?

A. At the login page tap on the link “Forgot MPIN/TPIN?” and follow instructions.

Q. After entering debit card details during registration of mPay Delight Plus it shows an error message “Transaction not permitted on card”?

A. Check whether you are selecting the correct SIM that is registered with the bank during SIM selection step. Also, in dual SIM phones, when sending the SMS for registration, check if the correct SIM is chosen to send the SMS from. Also, make sure your debit card is not expired or blocked due to wrong debit card pin entered three times.

Q. Error message shows “Your RSA profile is locked…”?

A. As shown in the screenshot above you need to call customer care at 1800 890 2122 and follow instructions as mentioned in question “Forgot answers to your security questions?” above.

Q. Error message shows “Please enter valid card details”?

A. There could be a few reasons for this error. First, make sure the card details that you entered are correct. If the card details are correct then make sure your debit card is not expired or blocked due to wrong debit card pin entered three times. Also, make sure the mode of operation in your account is not “Thumb Impression”. In this case, you may need to visit your branch and ask them to modify the mode of operation in your account.

Q. There is a message showing “Application will not run on debug mode”?
